# ComUnity Platform

Build, run and govern composable digital and autonomous services on one foundation.

ComUnity Digital & Autonomous Foundation, hereafter referred to as the ComUnity Platform, is the foundation on which organisations build, run and govern composable digital and autonomous services. It connects infrastructure, identity, metadata, data, workflows, integrations, configuration, observability, and reusable services into one governed digital backbone. Composable applications and autonomous agents run on that same backbone.

This documentation covers ComUnity Nexus, one of the Platform's services.

### Build more than applications

The ComUnity Platform replaces isolated applications, disconnected workflows, and standalone AI assistants with a governed operating environment. Teams compose services, expose data, orchestrate workflows and connect systems in Nexus. Human and AI actors then operate inside real business processes, without anyone rebuilding the same infrastructure, integration, governance, and observability patterns on every project.

### Give agents and applications the same operational backbone

Autonomous agents cannot act safely inside a business unless they can access the right context, follow the right permissions, trigger the right workflows, use the right data, and leave behind an observable execution trail. Composable applications need the same foundation. The ComUnity Platform brings these capabilities together, and Nexus is where teams put them to work, so they can:

* Model business data and metadata.
* Connect APIs, systems, services, and communication channels.
* Compose reusable application and workflow capabilities.
* Configure platform behaviour centrally.
* Govern identity, policy, access, and execution.
* Observe runtime behaviour across applications, services, and agents.
* Extend the platform through reusable services and reference implementations.

### Interfaces for ecosystem actors

The ComUnity Platform reaches the actors in a business ecosystem through the interfaces each of them already uses, among them APIs, reporting, USSD, native applications and web.

### Who it is for

Platform and delivery teams building and running digital services, from developers composing applications in ComUnity Nexus to the operators who run them in production.
